talk about the other big revision today because last night on fox, mitt romney made his latest comments on 47%. it's taken him three weeks to get there. now he's saying he was completely wrong. >> yeah, andrea, i would say his comments, remember on september 18th, i think it was, when he came out and did that press conference right after the 47% tape came out, he said it wasn't eloquently stated. he said it was off the cuff. he came nowhere near saying it was wrong and i apologize for it. three weeks on, he's apologizing. what's fascinating, andrea, i would bet a lot of money which in my world isn't all that much, but say i would bet $5 that mitt romney had the line he used with sean hannity ready to use in the debate when he, of course, expected barack obama would attack him in some way, shape, or form on the 47% comment. barack obama never did so, which i continue to find baffling strategically, but mitt romney i think wanted to get it out there in the air before october 16th and the next debate. my guess what he'll do, when barack obama almost assuredly attacks him in the october 16t

. >> mitt romney told shawn hammett the last night that that was a bad mistake, that 47% thing. he says he was sorry. >> i never said this on television, but nina is right. she stumbled on the truth when she said that obama is not a good debater. it is not that obama was off his game, that is his game. if he does not have a prompter, he is not good. you see it in his press conferences where he does not have a prompter. he has never been good at conferences. he rambles. the press has been unimpressed with what he does. he can decide how long he wants to take for an answer. this is who he is. it is going to be at a town hall the next one. he has more ability to connect with an audience than romney, so he will have an advantage in the second debate that he did not have been the first. >> would you rather be good or lucky? 7.8% unemployment rate. that is pretty good news. >> unless you actually look at the numbers. if you look at those getting new jobs, about 114,000. the need to have 150 to stay at the same rate. what has been happening is you have people leaving the work force, re

well, you know, i agree with him completely on the first, that romney had a good night, and, you know, i think we'll have to see a minute about before -- see a couple of days whether it changes the game. you know, walmart sponsored their walmart moms focus groups with momentum analysis, a democratic polling firm and alex brady, one of glen's partners at public opinion strategies together. you know, suggested that amongst a lot of these walmart moms it was a win for romney -- you know, the people in the groups were divided between a win for romney or a tie and that, on the other hand, or it said they were disappointed with the president's performance, they do not believe he made the case for how another four years would be different or better and that -- but made the point that neither one of these guys really connected with voters on a personal level. but clearly romney did, i think romney did a superior job of debating it. and so there are a lot of -- you know, we'll be seeing a lot of reviews over the next few days, but i think the key thing for us to watch is no question romney won
